After The Climb is the first book in the River Rain series and it introduces us to Duncan Holloway and Imogen Swan, who after 28 years of not speaking to each other are brought back together because of the death of their childhood friend. That is where all the secrets start, and we learn about the past.
I enjoyed these characters, but I really enjoyed their family members. Kristen Ashley knows how to write secondary characters that you want to know more about and I can not wait for their books to come out!
After The Climb basically sets us up for the other books that will be coming out in this series. If you like Kristen Ashley’s books and writing style, you will enjoy After the Climb. I am looking forward to reading Chloe and Judge’s book!
