Tropes: Alpha Hero, family saga, secret romance, blind date
I can always count on The Single in Seattle series by Kristen Proby to be a book to lift me out of a funk. I have absolutely loved this series and I always read them so quickly because they are enjoyable and funny.
We met Keaton a long time ago but we are introduced to Sidney in the previous Single in Seattle book and I could not be happier to watch them get their happily ever after.
Sidney is a famous country singer who just finished her tour and needs to reevaluate her life after her tour was not all she thought it would be. She goes to visit her brother who lives in Seattle to take some forced time for herself
Keaton is the son of Luke Williams and he has a huge rule, no dating anyone famous. He lives his life restoring cars and selling them. But all things come to a head when they have a one-night stand (in the previous book) that has them both thinking about each other. Keaton though does not want to get serious with someone as famous as Sidney.
I love the connection these two have and how they rely on one another and develop the relationship we all love to see in a happily ever after.
