Who is Maud Dixon? By Alexandra Andrews

The title itself is a question that everyone wants to know.

The debut novel by Alexandra Andrews is one I decided to pick up one day when I saw it. I read the description and it intrigued me. But the description is only the beginning of this twisted tale of deception and greed (not the greed you expect).

Florence is an aspiring writer who has not quite found her motivation and Maud Dixon is the author everyone wishes they could know. These two are brought together and Florence's life changes forever. After unexpected events Florence makes decisions that will change her life and she can not take back. Florence’s life is never the same.

That is honestly all I could say without giving away anything. This story has twists and turns until the last chapter. The story's main character is someone you cannot stand but you can not stop reading. But the characters being unlikable makes the story so much better and it worked so well!

If you are looking for a story of deception and mystery this is the story for you. I would recommend the book to anyone who is looking for something a little different with twists along the way.

I will say that you need to get in a few chapters to really understand what is going on. The author does good at building the plot and building the background of Florence Darrow.
